AssistKAR Crash SOS: Automatic Motorcycle Crash Detection & Emergency Alert System

Every second counts in the golden hour. Discover how AssistKAR safeguards your life on Indian roads.

Smart Incident Detection

AssistKAR doesn't just monitor lean angle; it constantly runs collision detection filters. In a real-world crash, a motorcycle experiences extreme multi-axial acceleration spikes followed by an immediate change in orientation.

1

IMU Detection: Validates impact G-forces > 4.0G.

2

30-Second Grace Window: The handlebar warning buzzer sounds. Press the toggle to discard false alarms if safe.

3

GPS Data Broadcast: Sends SMS containing precise maps coordinates directly to up to 3 configured contacts.

Indian Road Safety Statistics

According to the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) reports, India sees over **150,000 fatal road incidents annually** (MoRTH Annual Report). Over 70% of fatal impacts involve two-wheelers, where delayed emergency medical rescue stands as the primary cause of fatalities.

Safety & SOS FAQs

How does the device send SMS messages without a cellular plan?

AssistKAR features an onboard GSM/SIM module slot. You insert any standard prepaid local SIM card (such as Jio, Airtel, or Vi) with standard SMS capability. No expensive proprietary subscription plan is required.

Does the device store my location data on external servers?

No. Your privacy is paramount. AssistKAR logs GPS signals locally for telemetry processing. Coordinates are only sent directly via SMS to your configured emergency contacts in a verified crash event. No cloud tracking history is stored on our servers.

Will the system trigger a false alarm if my bike just tips over in a parking lot?

No. The system uses a multi-axial impact algorithm. A simple low-speed parking drop does not exceed the high-G impact deceleration thresholds. Furthermore, a 30-second warning buzzer gives you ample time to cancel any false trigger manually.

Can I configure multiple emergency contacts?

Yes. You can program up to three emergency mobile contact numbers via our companion setup interface.

What sensor triggers the crash detection?

A high-precision 6-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) featuring a 3-axis accelerometer and a 3-axis gyroscope measures changes in deceleration (G-Force) and lean speed.
